I'm really enjoying Arco, a gorgeous pixel-art western
The new tactical strategy game is told from an indigenous point of view.
Sometimes I just catch a glimpse of a game, while walking to another appointment at a gaming conference or scrubbing through an online showcase, and I see just enough to justify jotting the title down in a notes app.
For Arco, the head-turner was its pixelated desert. A simplified art style for stark terrain.
Looked great.
Then I played it, and, yeah, I’m glad I took a note.
